What to expect for your first session…

In the first session, I’ll ask you some questions about your current struggles and what brings you into therapy at this time in your life. We will also cover some of your history so I can understand a greater context and how you got to this place in your life. At the end of the session, we will work collaboratively to figure out our therapy treatment goals including what interventions I think will be the most effective in our work together. I also like to give you time to ask me any questions about my training, education, and treatment interventions that I use. Since therapy is a collaborative process, there is no place like the first session to start working together!
