As a Psychologist, my role is to work collaboratively with you to help you become the best version of yourself. We will work together to uncover your unique strengths and how we can use them to get you on a path towards success.
I use evidence-based treatment methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I believe that with willingness and active participation, all clients have the potential to learn and use skills to shape behaviors to make the their desired changes in life. I also believe in a solution-focused approach and target my therapeutic interventions to be goal-directed and future-oriented.
I have provided treatment to individuals, families and groups in outpatient settings, intensive outpatient programs, residential treatment programs, and inpatient hospital settings. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, psychosis, family systems problems, life transitions, postpartum depression, and borderline personality disorder. In addition, I have years of experience working with clients struggling with alcohol and drug abuse.
